We do not sell your personal information
MusicBox does not sell personal information for money. We do not allow third parties to collect personal information from our services for their own unrelated purposes in exchange for payment.

Advertising and “sharing”
California law uses the word sharing for some uses of personal information with advertising and measurement partners—for example, to measure whether an ad led you to sign up or to show relevant ads on other sites.

We only use those partners if you choose “Accept” on the cookie banner when you use the MusicBox app at app.musicboxlabs.com. If you choose Essential only, we do not load those advertising or measurement tools for you.

Partners we may use when you accept marketing cookies include:
Google (ads / measurement)
Meta (Facebook / Instagram ads)
LinkedIn (ads / measurement)
Reddit (ads)

We use essential cookies and similar technologies without that choice—for example, to keep you signed in, secure the service, and remember preferences. Those are described in our Privacy Policy.

How to opt out
You can limit advertising and measurement cookies in any of these ways:
In the app: On app.musicboxlabs.com, use Privacy choices (bottom-right, or on the sign-in page). Choose Essential only to turn advertising cookies off, or Accept to turn them on. You can change this choice at any time without clearing your browser data.

Global Privacy Control (GPC): If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sharing for advertising. Advertising tags stay off for that browser.

Contact us: Email support@musicboxlabs.com with the subject line Privacy choices and the email address you use for MusicBox. We will help you opt out or answer questions about your data.

Opting out of advertising cookies does not affect information we need to provide the service (for example, your account or catalog content you upload).
Public catalog pages (showcases and shared playlists)

When you browse a catalog showcase or shared playlist as a visitor, we do not use the advertising partners listed above on those pages.

Your other privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Our Privacy Policy explains those rights and how to contact us.
